Your Role

Aviation Services, a business unit within Saab Aeronautics, delivers a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defense and commercial markets, providing cost-effective support for systems and platforms throughout their lifecycle. You will primarily be part of our Business Area Finance organization.

We are in an expansive phase with several ongoing contracts, projects, and prospects, and therefore need to strengthen our team with an experienced, business-minded, and driven Controller who will be responsible for one of our larger contracts/projects. We offer you a challenging and varied position as Contract/Project Controller in the Aviation Services business unit.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with the contract manager or project leader and other team members. Your overall goal is to generate a positive business impact, provide early indicators to management, and ensure compliance with Saab's accounting policies.

You will also be responsible for:

• Being a co-pilot to the contract manager/project leader in financial matters
• Monitoring and controlling financial aspects of programs and projects such as following up and analyzing, preparing budgets and forecasts
• Actively supporting in financial matters
• Analyzing actual and forecasted values and initiating actions to improve financial performance
• Understanding how changed planning, risks, and opportunities affect the economy
• Working proactively and contributing to a transparent and inclusive environment
• Collaborating closely with other controllers within the finance function and actively participating in and contributing to improvements and progress in processes, systems, and controls within the finance area.

You will be part of the Aviation Services Finance team and report to responsible managers and contract managers within the business unit.

Your Profile

We are looking for a driven, communicative, business-minded, and analytical Controller. You have a solid financial background and business understanding. You bring energy and continuously strive to create engagement with other colleagues. You work systematically and visionarily towards set goals and have a high ability to adapt when needed.

Requirements:

• You have a relevant bachelor's or master's degree in finance
• A couple of years of experience in Contract/Project Controlling
• A business-oriented mindset with basic knowledge of project management
• Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish and English

Knowledge of Unit4/Agresso, Mercur, and IFS is an advantage.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, require certain citizenship.
